The Brandon Chamber Players

BCP launches is 21st concert season with a tribute to Beethoven for his upcoming 250th birthday. An all female ensemble will perform works by Beethoven and his dear friend and admirer, Anton Reicha, who was well-known for popularizing the woodwind quintet.

The Jeff Presslaff Septet

Award-winning Canadian jazz composer and musician Jeff Presslaff brings his music for jazz septet to Brandon. Straddling the line between a big band and small jazz ensemble format, the septet instrumentation has served as an ideal vehicle for Presslaff’s compositional voice. This concert will feature Presslaff alongside esteemed members of the BU and Western Canadian jazz community.
